COVID-19 UPDATE

Following the recent  information from the Scottish Government on Thursday, phase 2 of the lockdown relaxation will be in place from Monday 22nd June. 

This means that from Monday we will be able to see patients again for face to face consultations . However it will not be “business as usual” as we are still restricted on what services we will be able to provide. 

Initially we will only be allowed to perform urgent treatment. (We are not permitted to carry out any treatment that produces an aerosol, ie any dental drilling or scaling/polishing). The urgent treatment will therefore mainly consist of extractions and temporary dressings. If you need any other emergency dental care we may have to refer you on to our colleagues at the Health Board run Urgent Care Hub.

We are only permitted to have one surgery running in the beginning and are not allowed to see more than 10 patients a day. We request all of our valued patients to continue to be understanding and allow those needing urgent care to seek assistance first.

We will all be wearing masks and visors , but please don’t worry- we are still the same caring staff behind them

Please do not come to the practice to make an appointment as we are trying to minimise the number of people in the surgery at any given time,  for safety of our staff and patients during this pandemic.
